Why I Write Devotionals
Years ago, I realized that spiritual growth does not happen by accident.
Like many believers, I wanted to grow closer to God, understand His Word better, and live out my faith more consistently. Yet I discovered that lasting growth comes through daily time with the Lord.

Lord, dash. Each of us is given a birth date and an ending date. Between them lies the dash—a small mark that represents our entire earthly life. What we do within that dash matters. Everything done in and through Jesus matters. The fruit born in Christ reaches far beyond the dash. Long after we are gone, You continue to bring life from the seeds we planted and the work we watered. We may never see the fullness of that fruit on this side of eternity; it will be revealed when heaven and earth pass away.
